  Masking Discs for the Electronic, Automotive and Powder Coating industries include Conformal Coating Discs, Green Polyester Masking Discs, Polyimide Masking Discs, Solder Wave Masking Discs and Low Static Polyimide Masking Discs.  
 
 
  Conformal Coating Masking Discs also known as Masking Dots are used for the protection of areas during the conformal coating process and soldering. They are made of polyester film that provides good abrasion, thermal and chemical resistance. Conformal Coating Masking Discs can be used to protect areas that are subject to acid bath etching or mild caustic milling.   Green Masking Discs Green Polyester Masking Discs are used in powder coating, plating and anodizing to mask areas that do not require coating or plating. Green Masking Discs are extremely economical and will remove cleanly without leaving any adhesive residue. Green Polyester Masking Discs are made of 2 mil thick polyester and 1.5 mil thick silicone adhesive. They can withstand temperature up to Order Now400°F/204°C.  
 
 
  Kapton Discs Polyimide Masking Discs are made of high temperature polyimide film. These Polyimide Masking Discs are used in masking of circuit boards during wave soldering or other electronic manufacturing processes.It has high dielectric strength. They offer an excellent performance in electrical and thermal insulation. Polyimide masking discs have 1.5 mil of silicon adhesive which does not leave Order Nowany residue. They can withstand temperature up to 500°F/260°C.  
 
 
  Solder Wave Discs Solder Wave Discsare designed for electronic manufacturing and is primarily used during the solder wave process. They are also known as Wave Solder Discs. These Solder Wave Discs are superior stain resistant high temperature masking discs. They are constructed with a smoother crepe backing and provides for a finer paint edge with superior color separations. Solder wave discs are made of 7.3 mil crepe paper. These wave soldering discs can withstand temperature up to Order Now300°F/150°C. They are packaged in 3" core.  
 
 
  Low Static Masking Discs Low Static Polyimide Masking Discs also known as Low static Kapton® Masking Discs are primarily used in circuit board production, wave soldering and other applications where static charge is a concern. Low Static Polyimide Masking Discs are 1 mil thick with 1.5 mil of silicone adhesive. They have 1.5 mil of silicon adhesive which does not leave any residue.
