Kapton® Tapes |

Kapton® tapes are made of polyimide polymer material made by DuPont with a silicone adhesive backing. Kapton® tapes are also known as high temperature tapes or insulating tapes. Kapton tapes are available in 1 Mil, 2 Mil and 5 Mil thick Polyimide material. Most of our products have applications in the Automotive, Electronic Contract Manufacturers, Masking, Photonics, Semiconductor and Transforming industries.

1 Mil Kapton tapesare made of 1 mil thick polyimide film with 1.5 mil heat resistant silicone adhesive that can withstand temperature up to 500°F. Kapton tapes have excellent dielectric properties and can be removed without residue. They are packaged in a 36 yds long roll with 3" core.  |

These 2 mil Kapton tapes have excellent dielectric properties and can be removed without residue. They are packaged in a 36 yds long roll with 3" core. |

5 Mil Kapton tapesare made of 5 mil thick polyimide film with 1.5 mil heat resistant silicone adhesive that can withstand temperature up to 500°F. They have tensile strength of 98 lbs/inch. These 2 mil Kapton tapes have excellent dielectric properties and can be removed without residue. They are packaged in a 36 yds long roll with 3" core. |

Double Sided Polyimide Tapes are made of 1 mil thick polyimide film with 1.5 mil heat resistant silicone adhesive on both sides. This self wounded double coated Polyimide tape has exceptional high temperature resistance and good electrical properties. They are puncture and tear resistant when used at an elevated temperature. These tapes have a clear polyester liner. |

Low Static Kapton Tapes are made of DuPont Kapton™ HN general purpose film. They are 1 mil thick backed by silicone adhesive with ESD additive to reduce the static charge. These tape can withstand temperature up to 500°F. Adhesive is 1.5mil thick. Total thickness of this product is 2.6±5 mil. Color is Amber and it comes in a 36 yd roll. Low Static Kapton Tapes are ideal for environment where static discharge is a concern. |
