High Density 50 Mil (.050 Inch) Connectors

PCS-XE Series

The PCS-XE series connector is approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as the standard interface for SCSI-2 & 3 (Small Computer System Interface). (50 and 68 positions)
High density (.050 inch spacing board-to-cable connector with 26 positions (for RS-232E) and 100 positions for HIPPI as standard as well as SCSI-2 & 3.
Cable connection is IDC type, which allows labor saving in termination.
Wire sizes that are compatible with the IDC type termination include # 28AWG (7/0.127), # 30 AWG (1/0.254) and # 30AWG (7/0.1).
IDC type connector for 0.635 mm spacing flat cable is also provided for daisy chain applications.
The connector is housed in robust die-cast or two piece backshell with squeeze to release locking (SCSI-2) or screw locking (SCSI-3).
Application: Small computer and peripheral devices, office automation equipment, etc.

PCS Series

The PCS series connector is a small -sized, high-density connector specially designed with spacing of .050 inches between contacts to meet the needs of miniaturized electronic equipment.

Board-to-board connector

Even a multicontact connector can be easily inserted and extracted with little force.
The housing is designed so as not to retain cleaning solution during flux, removal.

Board-to-cable connector

In connecting the cable, the IDC type connection is standard, which allows labor savings.
Compatible wire sizes for the IDC type include # 28 AWG (7/0.127), # 30 AWG (1/0.254) and # 30 AWG (7/0.1).
Designed against EMI to meet FCC and other standards.
Housed in robust die-cast backshell and features squeeze to release locking latches for positive locking.
Application: Personal computers, facsimiles, other office automation equipment, etc.
