| Bertech-Kelex is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronic components, ESD products, Solder Pots, Tapes, Tweezers, Ultrasonic Cleaners and other production items used in Electronic and Medical manufacturing.
We are a division of In0erstate Groups, Inc., a California based Corporation that has acquired several companies over the years.
Bertech, founded in 1983 was acquired in 1993 and was moved to our main facility in Torrance. Bertech’s main franchised product lines are soldering products and tools, ESD material and MRO products used in Electronic Contract manufacturing and assembly. Kelex, a franchised distributor of Electronic Components was founded in 1979. It was acquired in 1998 and moved to our larger facility in Torrance. Some of the franchised product lines supplied by Kelex are Capacitors, LEDs, LCDs, Switches, Relays etc. Caltronics, a master distributor of Electronic products was acquired in 2000. It was founded in 1971. Caltronics primarily sold its products to smaller GLD and Electronic distributors and retail stores. Inc. 500 recognized us as one of top 500 fastest growing companies in 1996, 1997 and 2001. Bertech has also been recognized by Purchasing magazine and Diversity.com in 2000. |
Interstate Industrial Supply, a distributor of Industrial products was the first acquisition in 1989.
